Great Night at the Dublin PUb
...and the crowd went wild! Fintan played to a packed house Saturday night at the Dublin Pub in Dayton Ohio.
It was a farewell performance for our base player, Tamara, and she put on an outstanding performance which sparked the rest of the band members to put out 110%. Bryan turned into the Energizer Bunny. The strings on his fiddle were almost smoking and he literally blew out the pickups on his mandolin. Even though Phil was recovering from a cold, he stepped up to the mic and belted out his vocals with confidence. Karen and Pat kept the crowd on their toes with the non stop lyrics and feeding back the energy that came from the crowd while Mark kept up with Bryan on the hot fiddle with his whistles.
If you weren't there, you really missed one of Fintan's best shows, but we will be back to The Dublin Pub on January 30 with our new bass player, Keith Howard. With new musicians comes a fresh sound to a band, so who knows what to expect that night. I suggest you stop in and see!
