What A Weekend!
We had an amazing weekend playing Fionn MacCool's in Fishers on Friday and O'Bryan's in W Lafayette Saturday. Thanks to the folks who followed us the whole way.
It was cold and blustery Friday night, but Fionn MacCool's was nice and warm. Thanks to all our friends and fans in Indy (especially Frank and Mary who drove down from IL) who came out to see us. We had a great time playing and unvelied a few new tunes which got a great response from the crowd. After the show, the temperature really dropped and we woke the next morning to snow and ice on the ground. We headed out with the whole caravan in tow and, after a quick stop at Fry's Electronics in Indy, we headed for West Lafayette. We stopped at O'Bryan's new pub on the East side and had lunch. We were there to check out the stage space since we'll be playing there Saturday the 14th from 3-6pm. After lunch and a nice chat with the Manager (Tim), we headed over to O'bryan's West. The place was packed wall to wall and special thanks to the Gerard Butler Fan Club for driving down from Chicagoland to hang out with us. We played until well after midnight and ended up doing two reprises of Wild Rover a big crew of Brits who came in late. All in all a great weekend and thanks to Pieter for putting us up. Now all we have to is get ready for Ireland :-)
