On the way back home from Saturday's gig at Finn MacCools in Indy, we nailed a deer coming out of the median on I-70. It was 2 am on Sunday, so there wasn't a lot of traffic and we were able to safely get to the shoulder before the Element died. Then, between police reports and tow trucks, we made it back home around sunrise. The Element is currently sitting at the body shop, waiting for insurance adjusters and repair folks to start their work. Pat and I are fine, not even a bruise.
I drove back up to the body shop later Sunday and took some pictures, which I'll post in the next day or so.
