Wow - what a weekend! FinTan's first road trip was a resounding success! And thanks a bunch to everyone who came out to support us.
First, we hit Fionn MacCools in Fishers, IN. After trying to figure out how to get all six of us onto the stage we all had a great time. Members of the Gerard Butler Fan Club gathered en masse to hear the song their group inspired Pat to write. They were thrilled to be the first group to hear it. A big thank you goes out to those Ohio based fans who trooped out for the show, as well as those from the Indianapolis area who came out to see us too. Plus thanks to Dave for hopping up on stage and joining us on Bass for a song. And also a reminder - we're back at Fionn MacCools on April 26th.
Saturday night we played our first ever show at O'Bryans Nine Irish Borthers Pub in West Lafayette, IN. What a crazy night! This pub was OFF THE HOOK! The crowd was fantastic, and a bit crazed - especially when a pub crawl of Purdue students came through. We did our best to keep the music fast and keep everyone drinking, and it worked pretty well. A bunch of friends from the area came out to see us, which made the night even better. And did I mention that Nine Irish brothers has killer corned beef! We don't know when we'll be back to this fantastic pub, but we're hoping it is soon, since it was so much fun for us all.
Overall, the weekend was a resounding success and thanks a lot to all our fans who came out for making it so great.
Our next show is Molly Malone's in Pleasant Ridge on April 19th and we hope to see you there.
