Streaming Audio now live
Sharp-eyed visitors will have noticed a new feature on the right side of the page: the streaming audio player is now live.
Clicking the player icon on the right will instantly start playing a Fintan recording, which we'll update on a regular basis. It may be a track from our CDs. It might be a piece recorded at one of our live gigs, or an advance release of a tune that will be ending up on a new album, or even something from a rehearsal. In the near future, we'll be adding an "Audio" page with even more tunes for you to listen to. Be sure to keep checking back.

Tech note: The player is based on Adobe Flash Player, which you'll have to have installed on your PC and browser. You can get it from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/.
Another tech note for Microsoft Internet Explorer users: You'll probably have click on the icon twice to get it to start. That's just the way Internet Explorer is.
Geek tech note: if you're like me, you don't want to have Flash animations bugging you all the time, but you still want to see Flash when appropriate. My recommended solution:
- Install the Firefox web browser from http://www.getfirefox.net/.
- Install the Flashblock plug-in from http://flashblock.mozdev.org/.
- Quit using Internet Explorer.
