Un-trad-ictably Celtish: The Irish Music You've Been Searching For - Welcome to FinTan's Home on the Web!

One of the tunes we regularly perform is Come Out, You Black and Tans, in which the singer is taunting the para-military thugs hired by the British to make the lands of the Irish rebels "...a hell to live in..." during the second half of 1920. So everyone is all recovered from St Patrick's Day - right? We had such a blast partying with you all. Thanks everyone who made it out to one (or more) of our shows.

So now it is time to go out and party once again! We are having a special performance this FRIDAY just for you all. So come on out THIS FRIDAY 4/10 at Molly Malone's from 9pm to Midnight. Just a few minor updates to the schedule - times we're playing.

Our St Paddy's Day schedule is finally complete. We're playing 6 gigs in 3 states over 3 days!

A week in Ireland is just what we needed to relax and get ready for 2009! Thanks to our friends and fans who joined us, to Fred from Prime Tours and to our driver Mickey. Everyone had a fantastic time and we even had good weather!

Just a quick note to keep everyone up to date on the goings on of FinTan. Everyone in the band survived the holidays unscathed and rather happy and we hope all our fans did as well. And this Saturday we leave for IRELAND! (Not that we're excited or anything.)

BUT - That being said, when we get back, we just couldn't wait to get out there and kick off our 2009 US performances with a show at our home pub Molly Malone's. So - come on out for our Just Back From Ireland Show on Saturday, January 24th at 9:00 to Midnight. Come on out and join us for great food, some drinks, and I'm sure lots of stories about our Ireland trip.
